World Vision Ghana wins Distinguished WASH Promotion Organization Award at GESA 2023
World Vision Ghana has been honoured as the distinguished Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Promotion Organization at the Ghana Environmental & Sanitation Awards (GESA) 2023.
The award is to recognize the crucial role World Vision Ghana has played in the quest to achieve a clean and sustainable WASH.
World Vision Ghana has come up with numerous Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene initiatives that have helped to improve the WASH sector.
This award comes at a time when World Vision Ghana is strengthening its partnership with the Ghana WASH Journalists Network (GWJN) and other stakeholders to intensify efforts to ensure clean and sustainable WASH as the nation gears towards achieving SDG Goal 6.
World Vision Ghana, was awarded a plaque and a citation.
GESA is a platform dedicated to celebrating the tireless efforts of individuals and entities who have demonstrated exemplary commitment to preserving and improving the environment, as well as ensuring the highest standards of sanitation across the country.
The platform also aims to inspire and encourage others to join hands in the vital mission of safeguarding the country’s natural resources and creating a cleaner, healthier Ghana for all while creating synergies toward achieving the set goals in the environmental and sanitation value chain which are guided by the SDG goals 3, 6, 13 14 & 15.
