“Go back to effect changes to the inscriptions on Prof, Mills’ bust” – Minority orders Nana Akufo-Addo
The Minority Caucus in Parliament has ordered President Akufo-Addo to immediately go back to effect changes to the inscriptions written on the bust of the late Former President of the Republic of Ghana Prof, John Evans Atta-Mills.
Addressing some members of the Parliamentary Press Corps, the caucus explained that it was unacceptable and offensive for anyone to ignore the Late President Mills’ name on his bust.
The Minority Caucus in Parliament through its leader, Mr. Haruna Iddrisu has expressed the caucus displeasure about the blatant refusal by the government to emboss the name of the late former President, John Evans Atta-Mills on a bust erected in his honour.
He said the minority and the family of the late President were surprised to see the name of President Akufo-Addo and the Chief Executive Officer of Atta-Mills memorial institute, Mr. Koku Anyidaho on the bust instead of the late President, Evan John Fiifi Atta-Mills.
The group is, therefore, calling on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and others who erected the bust to go back and do the honourable thing by effecting changes in the inscriptions.
“Go and replace the name of the late former President, Prof. John Evans Atta-Mills with your name and a brief history about him.” The Minority added.
