Parliament Reconvenes for Fifth Meeting Today

All is set for Ghana’s Parliament to commence its fifth meeting of the fourth session today, October 15, 2024, at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

The house has temporary relocated its sitting to the Dome of AICC due to the ongoing renovation works in Parliament’s main chamber.

The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin, announced the shift in venue in a statement released on September 30, 2024.

This session follows an emergency two-day sitting on September 3, also held at the AICC, during which Parliament approved a $250 million loan agreement from the World Bank.
