Armah-Kofi Buah, Dr Frank Amoakohene, four other sails through…Despite Minority’s opposition to their parliamentary approval  

Parliament has approved seven ministers-designate who were vetted on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.

The seven ministers-designate went through a rigorous vetting process conducted by Parliament’s Appointments Committee chaired by the Member of Parliament (MP) for Akatsi South constituency in the Volta Region and First Deputy Speaker, Mr. Bernard Ahiafor.

The seven ministers- designate include:

-Armah-Kofi Buah as Minister-designate of Lands and Natural Resources

–Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum as Minister of State-designate in Charge of Special Initiatives

-Kenneth Gilbert Adjei as Minister-designate for Works, Housing, and Water Resources

-Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo as Regional Minister for Greater Accra Region

-Dr Frank Amoakohene as Ashanti Regional Minister-designate

Ibrahim Tia as North East Region Regional Minister-designate

Donatus Akamugri Atanga as Upper East Regional Minister-designate

The Minority initially opposed the approval of Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah as Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, however, after a few deliberations on the floor of the House, members approved his candidature.
